What does the Toyota logo represent?

In 1990, Toyota debuted the three overlapping Ellipses logo on its vehicles. The Toyota Ellipses symbolize the unification of the hearts of our customers and the heart of Toyota products. The background space represents Toyota's technological advancement and the boundless opportunities ahead.



What do the different Toyota model names mean?

 The outer envelope or crowning portion of a flower.

 FJ Cruiser

 The FJ Cruiser name comes from the FJ 40-series Land Cruiser first introduced in 1961.

 Fortuner

 The name "Fortuner" comes from the English word, Fortune.

 Hiace

"Hiace" combines "high" and "ace," signifying a vehicle that surpasses its predecessor,  the Toyoace.

 Hilux

"Hilux" is a combination of "high" and "luxury."

 Land Cruiser

 The name implies the ability to go anywhere.

 Prius

 Derived from the Latin prefix meaning "to go before".

Yaris stems from a goddess in Greek mythology, named Charis, who was a symbol of beauty and elegance. We used the German expression of agreement, "Ya", because we think this new name best symbolizes the car's broad appeal in styling and is representative of Toyota's next generation of global cars.



What is the origin of the Toyota name?

Toyota Motor Corporation was founded by the Toyoda family. The word "Toyoda" uses ten Japanese strokes to write while "Toyota" uses only eight. Eight is considered a lucky number in Japanese culture. For these reasons "Toyota" was chosen as the company's name.
 

What is the opening time of the showroom?

The showroom is open during weekdays from 8:00 – 12:00 and then from 13:30 – 17:30. On Saturdays from 9:00 – 13:00.

Can I trade my old car in at Garage Cordia?

Do all new cars come with a standard guarantee?

Yes, all our new vehicles come with a standard 3-year guarantee or 100.000 km, whichever comes first.
 

How long does it generally take for the bank to approve a loan?

A bank approval can take anywhere from one (1) to two (2) months generally.

Can I buy the car after the lease period?

What is the opening times of the parts department?

Monday – Friday from 8AM to 12PM and from 1PM to 5PM. Saturday from 9AM till 1PM


What is required when buying car parts?

To buy car parts we'll need the make, model and VIN # of the vehicle.


If I buy an incorrect car part, can I return it?

Yes, parts can be returned withing 30 days after purchase. The parts need to be new and unused and you'll also have to have the original receipt. Electronic parts can not be returned under any circumstances.


Can Cordia order parts if they are not in stock?

Yes, please contact our Parts Department by calling 788-2886 ext. 1200 or by sending an email to parts@garagecordia.com 

 

After how many kilometres do I need to service my car?

After 1000 km, 5000km and subsequently after every 5000km. You can schedule an appointment by clicking here.


Can I wait while my car is being serviced?

Yes, we have an airconditioned customer waiting area with wi-fi and cable TV.
 

Can I get my discontinued car model/brand serviced?

Yes, every car that has been purchased at Garage Cordia can be serviced. Even Daihatsu and JMC.

What types of repairs does the bodyshop do?

Garage Cordia's Bodyshop does a variety of work categorized as collision repair and car painting.
 

What is the opening time of Bodyshop?

The bodyshop is open during weekdays from 8:00 – 12:00 and then from 13:00 – 17:00. 
 

How can I have the damage on my vehicle assesed?

To asses the damage an appointment need to be made. This can be done by calling 788-2886 ext. 1400 or by mailing bodyshop@garagecordia.com
